As 2018 draws to a close, we have a new year to look forward to and everything that comes with it! Here are a few of our favourite things to check out in 2019 from music to food and so much more…
1. Walt Disco
One of our favourite up and coming bands to look out for this year. Hailing from our very own city of Glasgow, their retro vibe and live shows always leave a lasting impression. Be sure to catch them at King Tut’s New Year’s Revolution on January 19th, you can purchase tickets HERE.
2. Areeba Siddique
This girl stole our hearts and empowered us at the same time. Her posts on Instagram are powerful written messages that also take on a beautiful and inspirational form of art within her notebooks and illustrations.

3. The Records Ticking
We found this insanely cool shop on Instagram and one lucky family member may have received a Libertines lamp for their Christmas. All their clocks and lamps are high made to an extremely high standard and are incredibly unique so be sure to keep an eye out for more featured bands in the future! They also offer a customisable option on their website!

A long term favourite for those music lovers out there but it has to be a staple for any ‘To Watch’ list! They offer the well known “Mahogany Sessions” on YouTube where you can hear stripped down versions of your favourite artists songs in often very cool and quirky places. A music experience like no other.
Hate food waste? Find it hard to think of new and interesting recipes? Why not try allplants?! The already prepared meals are delivered to your doorstep, allowing you to lead a healthy and sustainable lifestyle on the go. While this is music to the ears of non meat eaters, those who eat meat may want to give it a go too! Cutting down on meat consumption can help with our climate crisis and let’s be honest, the meals look delicious…
6. Frank Moth Art
Lastly, Frank Moth is an Athens born artist whose style is incredibly intriguing. It is futuristic also while also achieving a nostalgic and interrupted feel with human elements. Definitely an artist to pull you into 2019 with a bang.
